These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NRI Circle platform, including our website, mobile applications, and the concierge services booked through them (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

NRI Circle connects customers living outside India with a network of independent, background-verified vendors and a dedicated Relationship Manager, to arrange parent care visits, property inspection and management, document handling, and related concierge services in India. NRI Circle facilitates and oversees these bookings; the on-ground service itself is performed by the assigned vendor.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to register.

3. Membership & Billing

• Some services are included under your membership plan; others are billed per request or as a separate recurring subscription, as shown at the time of booking.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe or, where applicable for NRI customers, PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize us (via our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Prices are shown in USD for your convenience; applicable taxes are added at checkout. Prices for a given service depend on the location selected, as service costs vary by vendor availability in that area.
• You may cancel your membership or a recurring service subscription at any time from your account; a cancellation stops future billing but does not refund charges already processed for that billing cycle unless stated otherwise at checkout.

4. Service Requests

When you submit a service request, we assign it to an available, verified vendor covering that location. Estimated completion times shown at booking are good-faith estimates based on typical turnaround for that service and are not a guaranteed delivery time. You will receive status updates and, where applicable, photo or written proof of completion.

5. Vendors Are Independent Contractors

Vendors on the NRI Circle network are independent businesses or individuals, not employees or agents of NRI Circle. While we verify, rate, and monitor vendor performance, NRI Circle is not liable for the direct acts or omissions of a vendor beyond our obligation to investigate complaints, mediate disputes, and take appropriate action (including removing a vendor from the network) where our policies are breached.

6. Pricing

The amount charged for a one-time or recurring service is based on the average verified vendor rate for that service in the selected location, plus our service margin. Pricing may therefore differ between locations and can change over time as vendor rates change; you will always see the current price before confirming a booking.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

A service request may be cancelled free of charge before a vendor has been assigned or work has begun. Once a vendor has been dispatched or has started the work, cancellation may be subject to a partial or no refund, reflecting work already performed. Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case through our support channel.

8. Documents You Provide

Where a service requires supporting documents (for example, to verify a relationship or a property), you are responsible for the accuracy of documents you upload. Providing false or misleading documents may result in suspension of your account and cancellation of the related service without refund.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity or relationship to a family member or property, to harass vendors or staff, or to attempt to circumvent the platform to transact directly with a vendor for a service originally booked through us.

10. Intellectual Property

The NRI Circle name, logo, website, and app content are the property of NRI Circle and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NRI Circle's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding three months. NRI Circle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify NRI Circle against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our own negligence.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time; open service requests and outstanding payments must still be settled.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms will first be addressed through our customer support and escalation process, and if unresolved, will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
